Telford & Wrekin Co-Operative Council
The borough of Telford & Wrekin is steeped in history and world leading heritage, but it is also a town of ambition, growth and energy, with great prospects for its future. They are pleased to be working with Tappin In and will bring together a group of residents to learn a new skill, create memories and new friendships through dance.
Rugby Borough Council
Tappin' In is working with Tea Leaf Tales, a drama group for young adults with learning disabilities based in Rugby, who provide opportunities for members to socialise and perform within the community. When they were approached by Tappin In’, their members were keen to accept the challenge, even though only one member had done anything like it before. In their own works, "It certainly is a challenge! Many of us are struggling with our hands doing one thing and our feet another. Luckily Jess, our dance instructor, keeps us going and makes it fun. She has been great and is playing to our strengths by including a drama sketch into our routine. Wait and see - we might surprise you, and ourselves"!
Crisis Birmingham & Coventry
Crisis is a homelessness charity that works in across 12 centres in England, Scotland and Wales. They work with thousands of homeless people every year, providing one to one help, advice and guidance, courses and employment support to make sure that people are supported out of homelessness for good. At their centres in Birmingham, Coventry and Warwickshire, Crisis are excited to be working with the Tappin’ In project to help their members learn new skills, improve health and wellbeing, share their creativity and to engage with communities across the Midlands.
Canal and River Trust
Canal & River Trust care for and bring to life 2,000 miles of canals and rivers across England & Wales. By bringing communities together to make a difference to their local waterway, they are creating places and spaces that can be used and enjoyed by everyone, every day. Canal & River Trust are proud to be working with Tappin’ In which supports bringing enjoyment and wellbeing to so many groups and people.
The Culture@Solihull team at Solihull Council are pleased to be part of Tappin’ In. Culture@Solihull enable new cultural opportunities and events throughout the Borough. They will develop a community dance group for older people and will provide opportunities for our dancers to perform and enjoy a film screening as part of the Tappin’ In activity.

Restoke put the people of Stoke-on-Trent at the heart of creative adventures. By making performances and planning events that tackle the social issues affecting our communities, they bring people together who may not usually meet, forming bonds of friendship, understanding and solidarity in the city. Restoke are excited to be partners on the Tappin' In project, providing more opportunities for people in our community to take part in creative projects together.

Tamworth Arts and Events provide a varied and eclectic range of events, activities and initiatives for the people of Tamworth to experience and enjoy. Part of Tamworth Borough Council, Tamworth Arts and Events Team are delighted to be part of Tappin In. They hope to reach and meet with people who might not have taken part in an activity like this previously, and feel inspired by how this profect gives an opportunity for artists to explore the important themes of home and community.
